Ongoing Education For Continued Improvement
In a field that changes as quickly and continuously as dentistry, your education doesn’t end once you earn a degree. At DentalCare Partners, we are committed to providing ongoing training and development programs for our doctors, hygienists and support staff.
To help our team members hone their business, interpersonal and clinical skills, we created DCP Academy, a 4,000 square-foot training facility at our home office in Cleveland complete with a full operatory to demonstrate the newest procedures. Constantly updated to incorporate timely topics and the latest technology, our curriculum covers the gamut from the technical (soft tissue management, rotary endodontics and implant restoration) to the personal (teamwork and leadership).
Our ultimate goal is not to just educate our staff, but the people they treat as well. For example, our doctors and hygiene trainers instruct dental hygienists on ways to make patients aware of such issues as the link between periodontal disease and other diseases. The more your patients understand what’s involved, the more likely they are to accept your recommendations, improving their health and your productivity.
We also encourage peer-to-peer sharing of information. Drawing on our network of more than 200 doctors with an average of 10 years’ experience, we organize study groups and training sessions, offering invaluable opportunities to exchange ideas, insights and casework.
